Grand Momma's Sweet Potato Pie

Instructions
Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Roll the unbaked into a greased 9-inch pie dish. Set aside. Into the bowl of a stand mixer, add the mashed sweet potato and butter and beat on medium speed until fluffy. Add in the sugar, evaporated milk, flour, eggs, nutmeg, cinnamon, ginger, and vanilla extract. Continue to beat on medium speed until mixture is well-combined and smooth. Pour the sweet potato pie filling into the unbaked pie crust, then bake for 1 hour until the center is set, or until a knife inserted into the center of the pie comes out clean. Allow the pie to cool, then cut into 10 slices. When ready to serve, add a dollop of whipped
